Hi, I’m Solo, but I’m tired of being alone. Want to join up and form a dynamic duo? I’m a one-year-old male chihuahua, fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on heartworm medication. I’m tired of singing the blues and ready to sing a new tune with you!
My previous owner abandoned me in their home when they moved out; I was there for four days before someone found me. I was terrified! They didn’t take good care of me before they left, but my new foster family has gotten rid of the fleas and worms and is working hard on my training. I’m learning where to do my business, and I’m great on a leash!
I have boundless puppy energy and love to walk on my leash and go out in the yard. I’ll need to stay on the leash or have a fenced yard since the sight of a squirrel, cat, or deer is far too tempting! When I’m not outside, I love to look out the window and dream of my next adventure or have a rousing play session with my toys. I also love to snuggle with my human and sleep on my foster mom’s bed at night.
I know I have some challenges, but I hope you won’t hold them against me since they aren’t my fault! I’d love to have an experienced adopter who is willing to put in the extra work training me, and who will understand that I need time and patience to open up and acclimate to another new home. I’ll repay that extra work with lots of love, snuggles, and fun!
