Isla was pulled from a shelter and has the most amazing temperment. This little girl is the perfect size and she loves people, kids and dogs. This is what her Foster has to say about her:
Isla (she came with this name) it's a perfect dog. She is excellent with my 2 dogs, playful but submissive. She loves her people and is a big snuggler. She must be part cattle dog and she looks just like my cattle dog mix and when the kids are running around in the backyard, she will run behind them and attempt to herd them (ages 7-9 years old). She likes to take shoes and slippers but gives them up right away when busted. No food or bone aggression. I think she’d do fine with a cat. She’s curious of our cat but not super phased! She’ll do a little play chase then she’s over it. I think she’d by fine as only dog but I think she’d love a companion to pay with. She walks well on the leash and has done very well socially on the leash out and about with people. She's only 36 pounds and is rather short so she looks much smaller and I would consider her a small to medium size dog. She is housebroken and honestly anybody would be lucky to have such a great dog
isla came to us Heartworm positive and was treated using the fastkill treatment (immicide) She is currently on heartworm prevention. The vet did not recommend her to be retested until one year after Treatment and Her adoption fee includes six months worth of prevention!
