My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ophie is a spayed 9-10 month old German Shepherd/Great Dane (?) cross. This sweet girl is attentive, and extremely eager to please. She's loving, energetic and very, very smart. She's known 'sit' since she was 8 weeks old, and 'drop' since she was 10 weeks old, and she's working on 'stay'. Sophie's good on a leash, good with other dogs, and good with cats and livestock. She loves kids and adults alike. She's housebroken, and has excellent manners in the house. Sophie loves to go for walks and car/pick-up rides. She's also learning how to run alongside on bike rides. Sophie comes every time you call her. She's agile as a cat, with the leaping ability to match. She does NOT jump on people, though. Her owners don't have the time necessary to help Sophie reach her full potential, so they're looking for the right someone who does. Sophie would be an excellent family dog, kid's best friend, hiking buddy, or agility dog. She'd also be terrific as a dog to just hang out with. Sophie's current on all vaccinations, including rabies. She's also micro-chipped, and her adoption fee includes the micro-chip transfer fee. Only homes with fully and securely fenced yards will be considered.
