My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Squirrel! I'm a 1 1/2 year old male looking for a home of my very own! My family unfortunately had to give me up when their lease changed and prohibited animals. They've had me since I was a baby. I'm a very sweet boy, but I'm really nervous here at the shelter. I miss my home and a family who loves me. Once I am comfy, I like being petted and picked up for snuggles. My family used to describe me as 'an old soul'. I lived with other cats and did OK with them, although I do get tired of playing with them fairly quickly. I have never lived with dogs or children; my previous owner says that young children frighten me & I'd be better in a home without those beings. Do you have a quiet, patient house that I could grow comfortable in? Please consider this shy boy, Squirrel.
