My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey Boo is all cuddles and snuggles. She is a gentle soft and small gray and white cat with beautiful green eyes. When she sees a special someone she wants attention from, she'll let out her cute little raspy meow! She is an older lady now so sometimes needs a little help via more litter boxes and pee pads. She qualifies for our Medical Adoption Program, so her veterinary care will be provided for the rest of her life at APR. Can Honey Boo spend her last few years with you?

More about this shelter

Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.

APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
