KEEP IN MIND: Puppies/Dogs are not for gift-giving occasions; they can be a 10+ year commitment.
NOTE: In most cases, breeds are best guess.
My name is Spice, and though you might think that with a name like that I'm spunky and sassy, I'm actually the opposite. I'm a playful, happy, ball of love. The easiest way to my heart is to rub my belly - no, seriously, I LOVE it!
When I get up in the morning, my zoomies explode from me in a whirlwind of big tail wags and happy runs. My favourite place to run around in is the backyard of my Foster's home, it's so fun! There is a small dog at my Foster's home, and we get a long great! I suppose I might be a little more interested in her than she is in me, but what can I say? I'm a puppy and I want to play!
Currently, I am working on my puppy manners. I have learned that people aren't happy when I jump up on them. I guess I'm heavy and have big paws, or so they tell me. My foster mom figured out my calm button is belly rubs when I'm getting too crazy. It works every time. I'm still working on the jumping thing. One thing that I am good at is sitting quiet for my food. I won't bug you when you sit down to supper at the table and I wait quiet for my bowl. If you eat on the couch, I might give your yummies a sniff or two. That way if you drop something I know if I should clean it up for you. As for the bathroom, I make it to the door to ask to go outside most of the time. I did have a couple accidents where I couldn't hold it anymore. My foster mom thinks I'm doing great though with bathroom breaks.
Even though I'm just a pup still, I don't destroy my toys or chew on furniture. It's the squeakers for me. I sleep in my kennel all night and I don't complain...you just have to get me in there first and it is not my favourite thing to do. Do you think you would be a good fit for my puppy energy? Do you have a yard for me to run around and play with you? I'd sure love to meet you! My foster mom says I'm a big sweetheart and that I will make someone a very loyal and wonderful family dog. Maybe that will be with you!
