Meet Macho Man
Macho Man is the undisputed champion of cuddles and snuggles. He loves to be around people He is a super chill, “go with the flow” kind of guy that just wants to be with you.

He has a skin condition called actinic (solar) dermatitis which means his skin gets red and itchy when exposed to a lot of sunlight. He has a nifty sun suit that he must wear when outside in the daylight and it makes him look like a goofy beekeeper dog. He doesn’t mind wearing it at all, he’s just happy to strut his stuff! He also had some knee repair surgery after arriving at MAS, so you will have to be conscious of how intense his physical activity is until he fully heals. He is looking for a home that will stay committed to keeping tabs on his skin care and his temporary activity restrictions.

Macho Man is a great big sweetheart that would be a great addition to any home, as long as there’s no cats in that home. If interested in the “cream of the crop”, the one and only, Macho Man, fill out an application today!

Submit Application

Our application is designed to help us learn about you and what you are looking for in your new dog.

2.
Approve Application

Our approval process ensures that the dog you are interested in is an appropriate match, or uncovering an overlooked perfect match for you!

3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We invite your family to come out to meet with the dog(s) that are compatible to narrow down and decide what dog is right for your family.

4.
Meet the Pet

We schedule a required second visit to finalize adoption. If a dog introduction is needed, we do so and finalize the adoption.

5.
Take the Pet Home

At the end of your second visit, you are able to take your new dog home, or schedule a third visit to bring your dog home!
