My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance, Male, Hound Mix, 8 years old, 41 lbs.

We don’t know Chance’s back story, sadly, he was an unclaimed stray from the pound. We do know he has come a long way in the month since he came to Home again. Today he is a very affectionate ,friendly and gentle boy.  

After his walk about and stay at the pound Chance just wants to have a person/family to call his own. He is great in the car and would be a great travelling companion or a stay at home boy with his stay at home family.

Understandably, Chance does suffer from some separation anxiety, but has really improved  in the last month. He loves his walks and is pretty good on leash unless he picks up one of those irresistible country scents…. But he corrects quickly.

Chance can be a little nervous around flailing arms and sudden loud noises. He reacts to these scary things in a timid, prefer to leave sort of way.

He is crate trained, recently been house trained and understands many basic commands. Chance loves to learn in exchange for positive attention.  He will need patience as he transitions from foster care to his new adoptive family, We know the rewards will be amazing for all.
 
He is a strong agile dog for his age so we expect he will have many years of love to give someone. While he gets along well with other dogs he would prefer to be an only pet to soak up all your love and affection.

Chance has been neutered, microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Chance is $400.00.

We do not ship our dogs.
