My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ROXY is in need of a loving patient home.
She's a very pretty female spayed calico mix cat, approximately 2 to 3 years young.
She has the prettiest eyes, adorable markings, and is friendly.
Roxy is mellow and calm. She also at times likes her toys.
She likes attention but can also have moments of being independent and quiet.

Roxy is up to date with all vaccinations and is FIV / FELV negative.

She may be shy at first and will need some time and patience to adjust to a new home.
She likes attention and will adapt well.
She may be best in an adult, somewhat quiet home.

Roxy is a sweetheart.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

An application is required and if approved, a home visit is done with the animal. If all works out in the home visit, we do a Trial Period (this is not a Foster situation) before any formal adoption is done. This is to make sure the animal is right for everyone in the home and the home is right for the animal. There is no specific time frame to the Trial Period. If all goes well, then we do the formal adoption. The donation for both dogs and cats is $150.00.

More about this rescue

Pet Protectors Inc. is a non-profit, animal rescue organization dedicated to giving a second chance to homeless and abandoned animals. We provide our rescued dogs and cats with a high level of care including medical needs, affection, attention and so much more! When possible, we place animals in Foster Homes until the right matched home is found. Pet Protectors relies solely on generous donations from the public. Your tax-deductible donation will help in so many ways – to pay for the animals’ medical care, boarding, food, leashes, collars, beds and so much more.
We are passionate about providing a voice for these animals who cannot speak for themselves.
