Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our Yugi is a shy boy, who takes a few minutes to warm up, but then he becomes an exuberant blast of fresh air, and one of those rare rescue dogs who can give an active family their Disney moment. He is a glorious Blue Nose Pittie boy who came to us recently from an overcrowded NYCACC, where he quickly became a statistic: just one more homeless Bully fated for the inevitable. Just four years old, Yugi was facing euthansia.
When we saw his shelter picture we were moved to tears. He spent some time as a city stray, and when the Animal Control Officer brought him to the shelter, he was emaciated and in rough shape. He came to us for nutritional rehabilitation, and treatment of an aggressive upper respiratory infection. Yugi snapped back easily and has blossomed in the Connecticut fresh air.
Yugi could join an active adult home, with folks who have the time to focus on his ongoing obedience training. He would be a good addition to a multi-dog home, with other energetic pups, provided attention is paid to maintaining calm and reinforcing good behavior. Cats are usually a dicey combination with any Terrier, and Yugi might chase them beyond their comfort level.
Yugi has good house manners and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He is in good health and at a healthy weight, which should be maintained at about 65 to 70 pounds. Yugi has been neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations and health screenings.
If you are interested in Yugi, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

When we receive your completed application we will check your references, including your veterinarian, and then call you to discuss your situation and requirements.. If you are approved for adoption, we can then discuss with you which of the dogs might fit best into your life. We will either arrange for you to visit the dog in its foster home, by appointment, or transport the dog to your home.
To help cover the veterinary expenses of our foster Eskies and to support our rescue effort, Eskies Online will charge you an adoption fee of $350.00. We do not sell dogs. We charge a flat fee--whether the Eskie is a puppy or an older dog; whether it came to us with minimal veterinary needs or requiring major medical care; whether the Eskie makes a short or a long stay in our foster system.
