Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet our mother-daughter duo, Helka (tortie) and Ingrid (brown tabby)!
Helka is a former street cat who found herself with babies at a scary young age. She was taken in with her litter where she THRIVED as a mother to MORE than her own babies. She is very generous with her "pack." She truly does seem to enjoy being in a family of cats. Helka has not shaken every piece of shell off her body yet. She is not comfortable being picked up and is particular about her head being touched. She is missing all of her toes on one of her back feet but manages almost flawlessly. She does steer "low" and does not jump down from high surfaces but goes up and down beds and couches no problem. She is happy when you wake up in the morning and follows you around chirping and dancing in little circles. She has an intimidating face and judgy eyes (she can't help it), but she packs a lot of heart in her little tortie body. She loves to play with pompoms and announce when she's "winning." She loves to sleep and groom other cats. Even though she is awkward, you can see that she has a lot of appreciation for her new life. She is glorious to observe having had such a heavy, toe-stealing start to life. She has a very special relationship with her daughter Ingrid. While both she and Ingrid are very social with other cats, they are each other's favorite souls.
Ingrid is the most polite and gentle little creature. She is social without being bold and outrageous. She is quiet without being shy. She is a rare "low energy" kitten who prefers to nap with the elders rather than run about chasing toys endlessly. She would be a great kitten for a family with kids of any age. She would be a great little sister to another cat who wants company but not kitten-chaos. She has an amazing relationship with her mother, Helka, who is also available for adoption if having a lovely mother-daughter rescue story squeezes your heart. They are a very well behaved two cats, so it won't even feel like you doubled down!
