Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.wiseanimalrescue.org/adoption-application!
*PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH AN ADOPTION APPLICATION*
- Due to factors beyond our control, transport costs for these pups were much higher than what we have been accustomed to - costs for health certificates and medical + transport for each dog with no allowances for shared crates were $335 per dog. With these factors taken into account, as well as the care needs for these particular pups, we need to request a donation above our normal request. We are asking for a donation of $850 from each adopter. The same $600 will be used to support our program and the additional $250 will be used toward the cost of transport. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.
- ONE application per household. We will only consider your family for one of our available puppies so please apply for only one.
- Micro is required to go to home with an adult dog in it.
Name: Micro
Breed: Alaskan Klee Kai
Weight: 9lbs
Age: 3 months
Gender: male
Home Recommendation: Micro needs an active home that is ready to play with him and exercise him both mentally and physically. As he is very young, his forever home must be experienced and ready to put him through training so he can become the well-behaved adult we know he can be!
Personality: Energetic, playful
Kids: 10 +
Dogs: yes
Cats: unknown
Crate Trained: working on it
House Trained: working on it
Leash Manners: Initially pulls, but settles down and walks nicely
Training: As he is very young, his forever home must be experienced and ready to put him through training so he can become the well-behaved adult we know he can be!
Why did he come to WISE? Micro was rejected by a pet shop and was to be returned to the mill where he was destined to be destroyed. WISE wasn't going to let that happen and took him into our program.
