Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya is a 7-year-old Pointer mix that was rescued from the streets in Mexico with her 8 puppies. She is extremely playful, affectionate and noble and gets along great with dogs, puppies, kids and cats! She is a very active dog; some would say hyperactive so she will absolutely require a home that will be able to get her energy out in a productive way. She is quite smart and would do well with lots of mental and physical stimulation!
Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!
