My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a 5-year-old mixed Terrier type of dog that loves children but isn’t a huge fan of other dogs or cats and would do best in a home as the only animal. She was found abandoned in the streets in Mexico and was very sick but luckily, they were able to help her get back into shape and now she’s looking for a home! She is very affectionate, loving and social with people and would love to accompany you on your trips or snuggle up with you on the couch!

Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!
