Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is PELUSA and I am the biggest goober you will ever meet! I am a 14-month-old Australian Shepherd mix and I’m already approximately 55lbs. I am spayed and will soon be up to date on my vaccines and those yummy treats the humans call preventatives. I am being fostered in Fredericksburg, VA.
I am working on learning my name and basic obedience. I know some of the
commands, such as sit, down and come. I will come to you, but I mainly want scratches or to play. I am still learning not to put my mouth on your hands, but I do not bite down.
I am great with people and LOVE children! I need slow introductions to other dogs because I haven’t been around them much. After a
short time, I love to play.
I am crate trained and house trained. I am very easy and calm on a leash, unless I see a squirrel or rabbit, then you better hold on. I
enjoy being outside, but always settle down easily. Like most aussies, I have a
strong prey drive. The humans don’t know if I would be good with cats.
Will you be my friend and teach me fun, new things? Will you love me and snuggle with me on the couch? Do you have a confident, playful dog for me to run with and learn from? Do you have a fenced yard, so I am safe? Will you promise to love me forever because I haven’t had very much consistency in my short life?
If so, please fill out the application and let's make this happen!
