Uma Purrman came to Saving Hope Rescue as an owner surrender who was absolutely terrified. This was not her first time being abandoned by a human, she was previously left at a shelter as an owner surrender before being adopted and then given up on again 2 years later. She was born in 2019. After given tons of patience, love, and a new name, Uma Purrman has learned to trust again. She is ready for her REAL forever home.
Uma has quite the personality. She knows what she wants and when she wants it, she’s a typical Tortie. Whether that means she wants to mind her own business, or crawl into your lap and demand affection. Her litterbox manners are absolutely purrfection, she`s very much a proper lady when it comes to the litterbox. She was never raised with other cats so would be best as a singleton, and she appreciates a quiet calm environment especially in a new home.
Because of her past she needs a real superhero that will be understanding of her fear of abandonment, she may take weeks to show how loving she is but goodness she is worth the wait! She enjoys pets and clean fresh water always. Even from the faucet! She would like a cat tree in her new home. She will reward you with great love and companionship once settled in.
You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications.
