My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace aka Peabody is a sweet boy looking for his fur ever home. Ace came to us very skinny and in need of much love.
He was also heartworm + and has just finished his last treatment. He is sweet and loving, but would need to be the only dog. He does not do well with other dogs or cats. He is energetic and also laid back at times. He is working on his potty training and he pulls a little on a leash. He loves to play ball and will fetch and he has other toys he likes. He would make a great addition to a loving family with energy and time for him.  Call us today about Ace!

More about this rescue

Established in 2005, The Animal Advocates is a non-profit auxiliary organization that supports the animals of Barnwell County and the Barnwell County Shelter.

Mission: Our mission is to provide care and shelter for stray, abandoned and abused cats and dogs in our community; to place these animals in stable and loving permanent homes; to promote and provide spay/neuter surgeries to reduce the animal population; and, to make the public aware and educate the community on the proper care and treatment of all animals.

General Information Our Friend for Life Center is strictly provided to help the animals of Barnwell County. The Animal Advocates pull adoptable animals from the Barnwell County Animal Shelter that would otherwise be euthanized. It is our policy that we cannot accept animals from the public.
