My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How do you spell cute? We spell it B-Bee. This little show stopper is an adorable 9 month old (DOB 12/01/21) 6.15 pounds, black with silver on her chin and on 3 of her toes, Brussel Griffon-Yorkie mix?, B-Bee is a SWEET pup! She was surrendered by her elderly owner who was not prepared to meet the needs of an active puppy. Her ideal home is with an ACTIVE family (children 12 and older, please) to wear her out. If you can take her everywhere you go that would be perfect? She would love to be included on all life’s adventures. She doesn’t know the word stranger and would be a welcome guest where ever you go. She is absolutely adorable! She loves to give kisses and to be held and snuggle in your arms to feel protected. Did someone say "toy"? B-Bee LOVES toys, especially the kind that squeaks. Being a puppy, she also needs toys to chew on. B-Bee will talk back at you if you tell her she is a bad girl or tell her to do something she does not want to. The staff gets a kick out of her attitude . She is used to being taken outside on a schedule and is also potty pad trained. Here at the sanctuary we use the command "go potty" before we take the dogs outside, B-Bee is happy to comply and this is a good habit to continue. She will need to be professionally groomed on a by-monthly basis. She walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She would be great as an only dog with someone working from home though she gets along with other dogs. B-Bee is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Are you ready for a sweet girl to make your family complete? B-Bee is ready to steal your heart and will be a wonderful companion. OFFICE

We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.

2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.

3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org

4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/

5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
We are closed on Sundays unless you make prior arrangements and schedule an appointment
