Meet darling Boris! Boris is a German Shepherd mix from Riverside Shelter who came to Bella and Sunshine in March of 2022. The vet and shelter have estimated him to be approximately 3 years of age, so he is fully grown at about 75 pounds. Boris has also had thousands of dollars worth of training and tons of hours in training; he is very obedient and loves to work.

He is a low-to-medium energy boy, and is predominantly people-oriented boy and just wants to be near his family. While he is happy to go for a short hike, he is also happy to be a couch potato once he has settled in. His favorite treats are banana, mango, and watermelon, so guard your produce carefully around this fruit bat. He has also discovered a fondness for snow and rain after becoming a Washington state resident, but has remarkably heat tolerant due to his California roots. His foster parents absolutely love him, but he does not love the household cats. :)

He would do well with another similarly sized, calm dog.

Boris is currently in the Pacific Northwest (in the Portland Oregon / Vancouver Washington area).
