My story

Pancake is a one-year-old German Shepherd Mix. She is about thirty-five pounds, housetrained, and spayed. To give a little of her history, my family rescued Pancake when she was fourteen weeks old. Her first twenty-four hours with us were gut-wrenching. Within a couple of hours, she had a bloody stool, became lethargic, and could barely stand. We took her to the emergency pet hospital where she was diagnosed with severe parvo. She was not expected to survive the night, but she did which tells you a lot about her spirit. She then spent the week in the ICU fighting for her life. Today you would never know she had such a rough beginning. Pancake is precocious, strong-willed, curious, full of energy, and loves to jump, run, and play. Although Pancake is a sweetheart, she has a terrifying bark (no worries about someone coming into your home uninvited).
