My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Danny Devito got his name from his short body and attitude. He is full of personality and loves to play fetch. Danny likes children and had his very own little girl with his previous owner. He seems to love everyone he meets. Danny is house trained, crate trained and fully vetted. We are still working on leash training, as he thinks he needs to say Hi to everyone we pass. Danny gets along with the foster cats, but he has been known to chase cats. His perfect forever home will be one where he is an only child that gets all the attention and gets to play fetch till he drops. He does have a best friend, a female foster in his current home, that he plays with for hours, so he does get along with other female dogs, It just depends on the dog. If you think Danny might be a good fit for your family email us at info@muttsandmittens.com

More about this rescue

After volunteering for another rescue for five years we followed our hearts and obtained our own 501(c)3. These animals have done nothing wrong but are totally at the mercy of humans. We take these broken, abused little bodies, and work to heal their wounds and mend their souls. Our desire is to give them hope and a new start, to teach the public that a pet is a life time commitment and one at a time find them all a home.
