Throughout her life, sweet as can be, 9-10ish yr old, 17lb Millie was left outside and used just to produce puppies… even up to just a few months ago. Her previous owners didn’t care for her very well because she was also dirty, matted, flea infested and had horrible tooth decay. Luckily, we were able to rescue her and get her to a vet before a uterine infection almost took her life. After her recovery from an emergency surgery and full dental surgery during which she lost all but 7 teeth, she has shown us what a silly, wonderful, affectionate girl she is. She loves everyone, including children, and would love to have an attentive, caring, forever home of her own. She will do best with a person that will include her in their outings and weather permitting, when running errands because she loves car rides! She also really enjoys meandering through the yard and rolling or just relaxing in the cool grass, so she must have a fenced yard. She is a bit stiff legged at times due to her age so short walks at most are best. And no more than a few stairs, please! She gets along great with dogs and cats but is not particularly interested in playing so she doesn’t need another pet in the home. She is house trained and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours.
