Hi, I'm Kita. People call me the wisest husky they have ever met. Some call me the beauty with white eyes. Frankly, I am okay with all the compliments because I know I am fabulous.
I was roaming the streets of rural Hamilton when a hooman thankfully spotted me and took me to the shelter. I was very sad there until my foster family welcomed me to their beautiful home in Downtown Toronto. I am loving it here and my fosters describe me as the sweetest, most lovable girl who loves to snuggle.
As a neighbourhood flirt, I seek out hoomans for kisses and cuddles. I enjoy long walks, the smell of fresh air and soft grass, and chasing birds. I'm very outgoing and enjoy attention from hoomans of all sizes.
As long as my needs are met (currently two walks a day), I am a very chill husky. My foster hoomans have never heard me howl or bark, and I feel I will be equally happy in a condo or a house with a fenced backyard. I come potty-trained and will signal you to take me out if nature calls. As I am very independent, I don't mind being left alone for a few hours.
I am a picky eater, currently enjoying turkey or fish. I prefer my dog bed over a crate, and I would need your help to continue my crate-training in my new home. My leash walking skills are currently a work in progress as I enjoy pulling my human sometimes.
True to my breed, I have a strong prey drive and would not do well in a home with small creatures. No cats and rabbits please. When it comes to dogs, I like them my size and require proper introduction with small ones.
Overall, I am considered a catch and I can’t wait to meet my adoptive pawrents, as I’m sure I can shower them with love, happiness and of course, my infectious positive energy!
