My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like many dogs in our area, Pearl was found abandoned in the woods. She is estimated to be only around a year old. She was found emaciated, skin & bones, had a bad case of fleas, and was a bit anemic. (See her transformation in the photos!)

However, after a month of love and rehab, she is a whole new lady! She is putting back on her weight, her coat has improved and she is happy, healthy and ready for her new family!!

She needs slow introductions to dogs, so a home with an experienced handler, or one without other pets MAY be ideal. She definitely wants to chase cats, and we are unsure about children, but when I say this girl is a people pleaser, she is a pleaser!!! She wants love, snuggle, get all the kisses, give all the kisses and simply just smile!

She goes potty outside on leash, has TONS of spunk and wants nothing more than to be involved and play! She’s young and full of potential! She is kennel trained for night time. She rides in the car without a problem or containment. She loves to have the zoomies, and wants to play and bond!
