Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here's an update from Jo about me: "To make it short and sweet: she's potty broken, gentle and sweet, perfectly safe with children and other dogs, friendly, approximately 5 to 6, 43 lbs, red fawn brushcoat, and a Mommy's girl. Where Jane goes, Rosie goes. She is a little shy of men but warms to women easily. She's had a little problem with some blood from her rectum but her anal glands were expressed and flushed and that is better now. Her spay suture area is completely healed and her entropian stitches are almost completely dissolved. Her ear infections are almost completely gone too. This is just the sweetest dog and will make somebody a very loving companion."
Hi, I'm Rosie ... I'm around 5 - 6 years old and have had a really hard life. The folks from SPS say that I have been kept in a pen and used for breeding my entire life. I am emaciated, my nails are very long, my ears are filthy, and my skin in bad condition with much hair loss from an awful flea infestation. I do know that things are looking up since Jo Haney and Carol Lint saved my life. I just found a new foster home (thanks, Jane Borden from Columbus, OH!), so we'll have new pictures soon. Thanks, love, Rosie.
Age: ~5-6 years Weight: ~35 lbs.
