Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available in Myrtle Beach, SC
Paddy is a 23 pound, 5 month old male Aussie/BC mix. He was in a litter of 9 puppies rescued, of which he and 3 sisters survived.
He and a sister were transported 1,400 miles from Corpus Christi, Texas to Myrtle Beach, S.C. the second week in August to find their furever homes. Through all that Paddy has been a real trooper.
Upon arrival in Myrtle Beach he was shy but still wagged his tail when greeted.
After six days he has adjusted so nicely. He is very affectionate, he eats well, is great walking on the leash and responds to verbal directions.
He is very laid back, easy going, cautiously curious. He is definitely not neurotic - no thunder storm or separation anxiety.
He does not initiate play but participates in chase with dogs and fetch with humans; and he does amuse himself with tennis balls and
squeaky toys. He is a "pack rat" - missing items will be found in his kennel - wet but not damaged.
He fits right into a home of "old souls" (a 78 year old foster mom, 9 year old german shepherd and a three legged Aussie.)
If you think Paddy would be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application through Australian Shepherds Furever.
