Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We respond first to those who indicate they have read this adoption profile/story!
Please meet Winnie, a tiny two month old Maltese mix puppy. Her foster mom says she is sweet as pie and is a fun and playful puppy who also loves snuggling! She can't wait to have a family of her own to love!
She gets along great with other dogs and loves all people, including kids! She is working hard on her potty training and crate training, but will need some more training in his new home as she is just a puppy.
She is up to date on shots for his age, microchipped and comes with a leash/collar and her medical records from Texas.
Due to her young age, Winnie is not yet spayed. Her adopter will be required to bring her to be spayed at our veterinarian at the rescue's cost at 6 months of age, or may chose to have the spay at the vet of their choice. The adopter will receive a rebate of $250 to the original payment method when proof of neuter is provided, if they choose to use their own veterinarian for the procedure.
Winnie is one of a select few of our rescues whom we believe are purebred or a popular designer blend which we adopt out at a near market rate in order to use those funds to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
Her adoption fee is $1250 firm. The adopter will receive a donation form for tax purposes as the adopter sees fit, since a component of the fee is a donation to help fund our transport and adoption of more dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from Texas.
She is being fostered in Elkhorn, WI.
Her adoption fee will be used to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we rescue, provide veterinary care, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.
If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt.
