Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We respond first to those who indicate they have read this adoption profile/story!
Please meet Winston, a tiny two month old Maltese mix puppy. His foster mom says he is sweet as pie and is a fun and playful puppy who also loves snuggling! He can't wait to have a family of his own to love!
He gets along great with other dogs and loves all people, including kids! He is working hard on his potty training and crate training, but will need some more training in his new home as he is just a puppy.
He is up to date on shots for his age, microchipped and comes with a leash/collar and her medical records from Texas.
Due to his young age, Winston is not yet neutered. His adopter will be required to bring him to be neutered at our veterinarian at the rescue's cost at 6 months of age, or may chose to have the neuter at the vet of their choice. The adopter will receive a rebate of $250 to the original payment method when proof of neuter is provided, if they choose to use their own veterinarian for the procedure.
Winston is one of a select few of our rescues whom we believe are purebred or a popular designer blend which we adopt out at a near market rate in order to use those funds to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
His adoption fee is $1250 firm. The adopter will receive a donation form for tax purposes as the adopter sees fit, since a component of the fee is a donation to help fund our transport and adoption of more dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from Texas.
He is being fostered in Elkhorn, WI.
His adoption fee will be used to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we rescue, provide veterinary care, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.
If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt.
