My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jethro, a lovable 3-year-old Great Dane mix with a heart as big as his paws! This gentle giant is full of energy, always ready to play, and never short on wiggles and goofiness. Whether he's chasing a ball, bounding around the yard, or greeting new friends with enthusiastic tail wags, Jethro's joy is contagious. He adores people and thrives on making new friends, both human and furry alike. With his playful spirit and sweet nature, Jethro is a big bundle of love who brings smiles wherever he goes! Just look at that long tongue!

Foster-to-Adopt!
Think you and Jethro might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first?
You can foster Jethro-meaning you'll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don't work out, you can always bring them back to us. If you're interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
