Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, Friends. Let us introduce you to Angus. This looker is about 6 months old. We are guessing he is a lab/pit mix but on the smaller size. Guestimating 40-45 lbs when full-grown. Angus is working hard and learning all the important milestones of a puppy. He's learning to walk on a leash, great with crate training and on the tail end of that nippy puppy stage.
Angus has had such a harrowing start to his life. He was first spotted in the middle of the road by his foster mom when she was riding her bike in a rural farm community. She found out from a local farmer that he had been hanging around for about five days. The puppy was obviously dumped and left to fend for himself, only surviving on barn cat food. He was found curled up in the corner of the farmers garage with an empty bag of cat food, very timid and shy but showed no aggression.
Angus' foster mom got him to a local shelter where he was given his vaccinations, examined, neutered and treated for anything he needed. The shelter felt he would be easily placed because he was so young. Unfortunately things did not happen as anticipated. For unknown reasons Angus was left in isolation for three weeks with no explanation and he was just starting to shut down so his foster mom went and picked him up. Rescued from the shelter, Angus has thrived and enjoys playing with his foster moms dog. While Angus' foster mom LOVES him and he is doing so well with his training, it is really important to find his forever home as soon as possible. His foster mom takes care of her elderly mother who walks with a cane and we don't want anyone to get hurt with a young puppy underfoot.
Angus would love someone who could help him hone his fetch skills, could that be you?
