My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing WILLOW, a wonderful 6 1/2 year old, 70 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix who is calm and quiet, and doesn't like a lot of commotion. She is a gentle, sweet girl who will make a great addition to most adult households. Willow's favorite time of day is when she gets to go for a long walk on the nature trail with her foster dad; she really enjoys spending that time outside, smelling the air, and watching the wildlife. In addition, Willow enjoys simply being with her person whether he's on the floor meditating or hanging out watching TV with Willow laying next to him and snuggling.

Willow has good house manners and does not require crating when her foster dad leaves the house. Willow would enjoy a fenced-in yard too; she previously lived with a German Shepherd for most of her life so we think she would be OK living with another similar sized dog who is calm and easy-going. Willow is initially timid meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she is very loyal and loving. She is approved for households with adults and children over 12 years of age.

This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, been wormed, tested for diseases, spayed, and microchipped. IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, please request an application by sending an email to us at acaringplace@comcast.net Unfortunately, our online application is not working properly so please do not use. We'll send a pdf to you via email for your completion.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!
