My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ernie is a handsome 3 year old male piebald dachshund, looking for love and understanding. Ernie can be protective of his home like most dachshunds and may nip protecting his home and human. Ernie has lived with a woman, she was his only owner. He  will need an experienced dachshund owner, he will need someone who is familiar with dachshund behavior. This behavior is very common in this breed if you know them.  Ernie is sweet otherwise. He may bark when you first meet him but is not aggressive. Pretty good on leash. He is pee pad trained and will go outside as well. We would like to see Ernie as the only dog or maybe one other dog. Not tested with cats. No small children. Fenced in yard would be a plus for Ernie!
