Ready for adoption in Oak Grove, KY.
Hi there! It's me, Nora! I'm available for adoption through Australian Shepherds Furever. I'm a very sweet one year old border collie girl weighing only around 34 pounds. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations and heartworm negative.
In the month of July my brother and I were found as strays and taken to the shelter in a town in Tennessee. My foster mom who fosters for this amazing rescue drove all the way from Kentucky, which was a several hour trip to pick us up and foster us. She says I am a very sweet girl who loves to eat, loves treats, loves toys and water.
I am 100% crate trained. When it's time to go outside, I'll go out into the fenced backyard to do my business but come back very quickly to the kitchen door to get my treat. I am a little spoiled! I am very attentive and like to learn new things all the time. When my foster mom calls me to come back into the house, I listen immediately and follow direction like a good girl.
I like other dogs with proper introduction. I have not been around cats or children yet. If you think I would fit in with your family I believe I might like either some hiking, long walks or maybe agility training.
I may be a little shy at first but I warm up very quickly. I'm still a young pup and have much to learn but I'm always told what a sweet beautiful girl I am and so well behaved. My foster mom loves me so much and says I'm an absolute love bug! I know she will be very sad when I leave but she will be happy when we find a perfect home that will love me as much as she does!
