Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They say you can't buy love, but you can rescue it - so if you're looking to rescue a dog and get some BIG love in return, look no further! This stunning guy is a 3 yr old, ~75 lb, neutered, up to date on vax, microchipped, über handsome Dobie / Pittie blend. Ever seen a glossier coat? If so, we'll need pics to believe you cause this guy's coat is the shiniest we've seen.
Blake is great with dogs, a quintessential ball dog (meaning he has never met a ball he didn't like), and has impeccable house and leash manners. He's a star hiking and running partner, loves the car, and brightens up even the greyest days with that big pink tongue of his. He's pure joy to be around.
PACC recommends an active home for whom daily exercise is a given and experience with, and a love for big, charismatic dogs is built in. Blake's previous family describes him as 95% perfect, and PACC is looking for a forever family that will indulge the other 5% (wariness of some men) while gaining a remarkable companion in return. While he gets over initial fears with proper introductions a household that understands Blake takes time to trust people he doesn't know (mostly of the male persuasion) is needed. This mostly means asking guests to ignore Blake while he suss's them out from a comfortable distance. Given his uncertainty with some strangers, PACC is looking for an adult / adult-teen home and a situation absent children.
If you like your dogs big, goofy, affectionate and into fetch - give a shout out to Blake by filling out the PACC adoption application below. We will contact you once it's received.
P.S. Blake has a reasonable amount of prey drive so we do not recommend a home with cats.
