Please meet Alton, the German Shorthair Pointer! Alton is a 4 year old neutered male and is an all-around happy boy with a silly personality! He is a very handsome boy even with his underbite, which gives him an adorable smile! Alton loves all forms of play! He loves to fetch, play with tennis balls on his own, wrestle with other dog friends, and even wrestle with people if you let him! Alton has quite a bit of energy that he needs to expend every day. Once he has had his exercise, Alton will lounge and nap for hours. He is very people-friendly and loves to be with people. He would do best with skilled dog owners that have experience with sporting dogs and more specifically, GSP. He does have some anxieties that will need to be managed but can be done easily in the right home. Alton is a very big boy. He weighs 70 lbs! Again, Alton is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. His play style is very rough and tumble so he will need a buddy close to his size or one that can handle his type of play. Alton is trained in basic obedience such as sit, wait, off, and loose leash walking. He is also elimination trained, and crate trained. He is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm preventative and dental. He does well with kids 5+ (simply due to his size and playful nature) and is very dog friendly.
