Ava is approximately 2 years old. She is a terrier mix and weighs 10 lbs. She came to Haven to Home with her three babies (who have been adopted) from our southern rescue partner. It was apparent that Ava did not have a great life before coming in to rescue.

She is slow to trust, but when she does come to trust the humans caring for her, she is a devoted companion. She needs an adoptive home that is willing to give her time to bond and trust them, not force new people on her, help build her confidence and show her that people can be nice to little dogs.

Her foster Mom, just loves her and says Ava plays so nicely with many new dogs in her foster home. At night, she cuddles with her foster mom and sleeps soundly all night. Ava will make the right adopter a perfect loving companion.

Ava has been spayed, vaccinated, tested and treated for parasites, microchipped, and on flea/tick preventative. She is house and crate trained and walks on leash.
