My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Doonesbury, and I'm about 11 months old. We aren't sure what I am but I could be a Papillion x JRT/Spaniel(??) I"m about 12lbs and won't get much bigger.
My owners decided to starve me to death, and I was nearly there when a nice person rescued me. But when she fed me, I aspirated the food into my lungs, got pneumonia and nearly died. The doctors thought I wouldn't make it, but I fought hard to stay alive! I had to stay in the hospital for a long time, but I'm feeling just super now and am ready for my permanent home!

I am housetrained, crate trained and very very smart! I like cats, and other dogs and all people, in spite of the cruelty they did to me. I also love to run like the wind, chase balls, ride in the car, and going for walks is my very VERY favorite!!!

Would you like a cute and fun little companion? If you would, I'm your boy!! I do bark when left alone, so I would be better with someone who is not working 9 - 5, or can take time to work with me on this problem!
