My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** If you are interested in Willow, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ WE DO NOT ACCEPT INQUIRIES**

Willow is a sweet submissive girl! She is believed to be a Cattle Dog / Shepherd mix, though we suspect she has many more breeds in her, and she is so smart and learns commands quickly. She is still a ripe young age of 1 years old, and so eager to learn! She weighs 38 lbs and is a tiny bit underweight due to poor nutrition, but we're currently working on that.

Willow has been known to be the sweetest little girl, and she’s so gentle! She will literally crawl into your lap and will kiss you like crazy! Willow is seriously an angel, and she LOVES belly rubs!

Note from Foster:
"Willow is a big goofball! She loves going for walks and trying to chase bunnies. It's my belief that she never lived in a home as everything in the house seems very foreign to her, but she's starting to get comfortable. She's still learning how to play with toys and it's adorable to watch. We're working on her potty training, and she's catching on and with a consistent schedule she shouldn't have any accidents. Willow also needs slow introductions to other dogs. When I introduced her to my dog Grizzly I walked Willow and my boyfriend walked Grizzly around the park keeping them at a little more than the leash length apart and after a few minutes they were great! We love her so much and we know her adopter will too!"

It's important when bringing home any rescue pup to reference the rescue rule of three"Dogs are in shock the first three days in a new home, need three weeks to begin to show you their true personalities, and three months to begin to understand the family rules."

We would love to see Willow in a home that includes her in family time and activities...she’s appropriately playful and fun-loving and would thrive in a family that truly loves her and considers her a very important family member. She will be a wonderful companion for active, fun-loving individual or family who have the time and energy to give a dog the proper exercise and stimulation that she needs! She would also fit in well with a family that works from a home-based office and loves to have a best companion to love up throughout the day. We feel that Willow is too social a girl to be left alone for the long hours of full-time employment outside of the home.

Willow is spayed and up to date on all shots.

Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving puppy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
