My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** If you are interested in Charlie, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ***

There's nothing quite like puppy energy and silliness!

Charlie is an adorable, 10 week old Schnauzer/Poodle mix puppy. (He likely has a few different breeds in him). He has the cutest scruffy coat and whiskers. He is just 6 lbs, and will likely be around 20-25 lbs full grown.

Charlie and his brother were found roaming the streets together in Texas. (Can you picture these two cute little puppies bouncing around on the streets!?!?!)
Now they are comfy in a foster home and coming to Colorado to find their forever homes.

Charlie a playful, happy puppy. He gets along great with other dogs, and loves all people he meets.

Since Charlie is just a young pup, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. He has all the potential in the world to be an awesome adult companion. Charlie will form firm bonds with his family (as well as other dogs and humans) and learn socialization skills through positive reinforcement puppy kindergarten/training classes.

We feel very strongly that every dog and their family deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement training classes. We therefore aren't willing to adopt to a home that doesn't choose to offer this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved virtual or in-person positive reinforcement/force-free trainers in your area.

Charlie will be up to date on his vetting/vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. He will still be in need of 1 or 2 (TBD) more puppy shot(s) before it is safe for him to go out on public ground. He will not be able to have his Rabies vaccine until he is 4 months old.

Ongoing research is clear that it's beneficial to a dog's skeleton to be neutered at a later age. This way the dog continues to receive the hormones for a much longer period of time that will serve them as they age.
Neuter is required to finalize any adoption, and must be done by the time the pup is 1 year old.

Charlie is looking for his forever home now!
