Meet Jane! This sweet girl has just arrived up North on the search for her forever family.
She is approximately 1 year old and 50 lbs. She is a mixed breed, possibly with some hound? Hard to say, but we know she is 100% cute!
Jane has adapted well to her new foster home in PA and is happily living with 5 other dogs of all sizes. While no kids live in her foster home, she has been kid tested and is happy to live with them as well. In the South she was cat tested and described as “Curious, but kind” which seems to be how she handles almost all situations.
She is a sweetheart who is always happy to get love and belly rubs from anyone willing to give them to her. While she has the energy to play and have fun, she is also happy to just hang out as well.
Jane is house trained and crate trained, although has not been a big fan of her crate, she will not try to bust out, just likes to bark when in it. She can be in the crate if needed, but she has been good out in the house as well here.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and heartworm negative. This sweet girl is waiting in York, PA to meet you!
We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
