My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We call Birch the “four-wheel drive cat”. Birch loves to run amuck and play with all kinds of toys, even toys that aren’t toys. She absolutely loves other cats but is a little timid of dogs. We haven’t tested her with children yet, but we feel confident she wouldn’t have an issue. Birch was found at a gas station with 4 other siblings and 2 adult cats. While all the other cats easily went into traps to get food and caught, Birch decided traps were new jungle gyms. It took over an hour laughing and watching her play all over the traps, running inside and darting back out, rolling around on the tops until she finally went a little too far in and closed the trap door. We must admit, we were a little bummed the show was over. She hasn’t disappointed us, though! She continues to be a hoot here at the rescue. Birch was not designed to be an outside cat, she loves the air conditioning and soft beds.
