Checkers is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.

I'm a small but feisty calico who grew up with 5 older adoptive siblings. My favourite toys are crinkle balls and plastic springs, which I carry in my mouth and defend with a (very cute) growl.

In the mornings, I'm the first to come and greet my foster mom with lots of purrs and my tail held high.

I would be better suited in a home with no small children, as a kitten in my excitement my little claws can come out unintentionally.

I am currently eating Royal Canin Kitten (dry) and Mother and Babycat (wet), my litter is wood pellets and I like carpet and cardboard scratchers
