Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I adopted Mia a couple months ago. She is a really really sweet girl, however comes with a lot of anxiety and is fearful. When I first got her she would hide under the sofa all the time and did not want to go for walks and was not house trained.
In the past couple of months with the help of a trainer we have made great progress. She loves walks, is very very curious when outside! Loves other dogs. Loves going to the dog park. Is friendly with cats and adores kids. She is a bit wary of human adults and takes her time with them.
As Ive gotten to know Mimi (as we lovingly call her) I have come to realize she would be better off and thrive in an environment with more people in the home for attention and play, a backyard and ideally a sister/brother dog.
Whenever I have left her in an environment like that (like at my dog sitter) she comes to life! She is actually very happy and outgoing, but that doesnt show when she's at home with me.
