My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Jax the incredibly handsome Great Dane! This sweet senior is looking for his happily ever. He's been with his people his whole but due to a life change, they are unable to keep him and need to find a new home.

Jax is a gentle giant that is house trained, good with other dogs, and would be fine with older kids. He is an absolute JOY and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. He trots along like the happiest boy AND gives HUGS when you ask.

This healthy senior is fully vetted and has a clean bill of health. He's looking for a local to Alabama home that has a fenced in yard or can take him for walks. He will need a confident owner with big pup experience as Jax needs guidance that new things aren't scary. Also! Jax loves car rides, can load by himself, and is hoping there are lots of pup cups in his future. :D

If you might the one to give this gentle giant his happily ever after, please let us know by completing an app here: dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form.
