My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ford was found stray in Greenville with his siblings and never reclaimed. He is 10  weeks of age as of 8/30/2022. Ford is a sturdy guy with big feet and low rider legs. His favorite things are toys for tugging and crinkle toys. He also likes to chase balls. He enjoys following his foster family around- especially the men in the house.

So far Ford is a fun little guy who seeks out attention from his foster family. He's only been in his foster home a short while but is already asking to go outside. Of course at this young age this is just the beginning as he doesn't yet know that we ONLY go potty outside! He is sleeping in a crate over night. Ford is in a home with cats and other dogs. He enjoys playing with his 1 year old foster sister and is respectful when corrected by his 14 year old foster sister. Ford is a gentle boy who would probably do well with kids. He can be a barker when he plays so he would probably not be a good fit for an apartment.

Ford is expected to be 45-55lbs full grown.

Puppies are playful, active and loving. They need someone will lots of time and patience to raise them to be the best adult dogs they can be! Their adoption fee includes three rounds of puppy vaccines, dewormer, a one year rabies vaccine, microchip and registration, and spay/neuter. Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be spayed/neutered in October of 2022 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.

Please complete an adoption application and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours via email. https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/

*Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
