My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Isabell (pawparent@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Stan was a victim of a pot farm raid and was confiscated by the sheriffs and brought to the Lancaster shelter.Due to the extreme overcrowding at the shelters in Southern California he was in danger of being put down. He was being networked and came to the attention of Paw Parent. We had one keen spot available and welcomed him with open arms. He is a happy go lucky dude and so happy to be alive. He tested well with other dogs at the shelter, loves to go on walks and hang out with people. He made a friend here with Bertha and the two of them just love to run and play together. Stan is very energetic and would make a great hiking buddy. He's affectionate and incredibly sweet and would love nothing more than to become someone best friend. Will it be you?
He is about 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and weighs about 65 pounds.
Please email us at pawparent@gmail.com if you would like to make him a member of your family.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you have found a pet of your liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact you to set up a time to meet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks good and goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through your generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
