“Like some humans you may know, I can block past experiences that were not especially happy. I must have belonged to someone when I was a cute kitten, because I learned to be one of THE most affectionate, loving, roll-over-and-pet me girls you will ever hope to meet. Somehow, I lost that home and I was living outside, looking for food and a place to stay warm when a nice lady took me in. She has the biggest heart, but she also loves dogs and that turned out to not be anywhere I wanted to stay. I tried to run away, but after a couple of weeks I had to return b/c I couldn’t find as tasty food anywhere else! Then the lady had a friend that said she could find me a good, safe, loving forever home. So here I am. I have been stabbed (they called those vaccinations and drawing blood to make sure I didn’t have anything bad inside me) and had other stuff I won’t go into here, but I’m in great shape and ready to find my furever home. If you have space in your heart and home for little me, let’s make a deal!”
Mona is a very sweet, well-behaved, low maintenance girl that keeps her areas clean (no spilled food or water like some crazy youngin’s). She uses her litter box dependably, loves to watch birds and squirrels through her glass doors and windows and enjoys long naps as well as anyone. Mona gets along with other cats, but she’s unhappy if any dogs are around, so she must be in a dog-free home. For more information, please call 919-935-3792 or better yet, submit an application and her people will contact your people!
