if you are interested in adopting this sweet kitty who deserves a forever loving home!
Richard is an 8 year old, 19lb chunky boy who loves pets and to hangout with you. He is extremely sweet and just wants to be loved.
He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and was going to be euthanized by his owner due to urinating outside of the box from the untreated diabetes. He is in the process of the diabetes being regulated with insulin.
In his foster home he has been on insulin twice a day and he is doing very well with going potty in the litterbox. He seems to do fine with dogs and other cats.
There is a chance Richard could go into remission with weight loss which means no more diabetes. He requires insulin checks every few weeks at the vet to ensure he is getting the proper dose of the medication until the diabetes is regulated.
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all veterinary needs. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our cats to their new family so all involved are furever happy!
