Pike is another rescue from Pikeville County Animal Shelter. This gorgeous guy is a 2 year old, 50 pound, Red Heeler/Lab mix. Pike is a very sweet boy who wants to play and live the best doggy life possible! He would do very well in a home with another dog his size or larger to play with. He likes little dogs but isn't sure how to play with them and can be a little rough. Pike will give you kisses and hugs all day long! He does great in the car, is quiet, and has great travel companion manners.

May West is 6-8 years old and 15 pounds of constant tail wagging happiness and is absolutely adorable with her black and white coloring. The vet thinks she is part Dachshund. She was found in rural West Virginia living in an abandoned, dilapidated shack scavenging to survive. She was very thin when she was found, but with regular feedings, she put on some weight and is doing great.

Pike loves to hug kids! He’s a big guy so this could be scary for smaller children. He is a big fan of toys, and he will play ball. He can be a little rowdy when playing, but we are working on curbing those behaviors. He is really active and will need a fenced in yard. He is crate and potty trained.
