Hi there! My name is Moonbeam, and I am a wonderful young female German Shepherd puppy looking for my forever home! If you're looking for an Energizer bunny, that goes hard, that's me!

My favorite thing is water! If there's water around, that's where you'll find me. I love my kiddie pool, and I'm always in the lake or river if there's one nearby. Get used to having a wet dog in your life! Lizz thinks that I might make a good dock diving dog, so I'm hoping to get out to the pool at some point to see if I'll go off the ramp for a toy! I'm too young to start a career in it yet, but we can see if the foundation is there!

I also have a very strong prey drive, If It moves, I want to chase it! Perhaps some sprinter, or lure coursing in my future as well? It however doesn't lend well to a lifestyle that might be shared with cats. While yes, I am young and trainable, it's a lot of work to train a puppy that has strong prey-drive, not to pester the resident cat. So I would prefer a home without one, so that no accidents happen and everybody is kept safe. But if you are committed to training, it can be discussed.

From what we know about my family history, we tend towards dogs that mature to have some form of same sex aggression. For that reason I'm best in a home without female dogs close in age, especially if they are breed also prone to same sex regression. While at the moment I get along with everyone, it's better to be safe!

I'm definitely a lot more dog than my brother. Although you might not think that at first when you meet me, because I am a little shy with new people. But I'm definitely the crazy one! Initially I'll seem a little shy, and withdrawn, but I come out of my shell pretty quickly. Then you'll end up with a lap full of puppy, and a face full of kisses! And that's when you'll see my personality truly shine. I'm definitely on the go, and in the high end of the high energy category. If you're not looking for a dog that's going to be very demanding on your commitment and time, then I definitely won't be the right puppy for you. My ideal family are people will enjoy actively engaging with their dog on the regular, and have a big commitment to both mental enrichment, as well as physical exercise. I'm the kind of puppy that's going to get into a lot of trouble, if my needs aren't met. I know that sounds rough, but it's better to be honest upfront! For the right family, I'm going to be your dream, we just have to make sure it's the right match!

I'm super excited to find my forever family, and I really hope to find them soon! If I sound like your kind of girl, I hope to hear from you soon! Can't wait for my next adventure :-)
